The conceptcertificate
The concept of ADAPT is to provide a free to use service for people within council communities who, for whatever reason, are not eligible to gain access to support until they have been either unemployed for some time or in receipt of means tested benefits. So, this programme could prevent people unnecessarily becoming long term unemployed.

ADAPT can both change and address this situation by
providing people with a route to sustainable employment.

To enable consistency and impartiality, a set of products with an assessment has been developed. The aim is to establish peoples' progress in their knowledge of the skills and information required to enable a positive outcome on their journey from welfare to work.

The concept of Adapt could be used to support:
  • People leaving prison who are expected to search for work as part of their parole.
  • People who are asylum seekers and need to prepare for both work and community integration.
  • People leaving training or education including school leavers.
  • People who are on notice of redundancy as part of they're HR1 jobsearch facility.
  • People who have not worked or never worked for whatever reason.
  • People in receipt of benefits and are expected to seek employment as part of their claimant compliance.
